Doing your thesis at UNIGE

Doctoral applicants must hold a Master's degree from a university and program recognized by UNIGE. Applicants must also have a Bachelor's degree that they obtained after at least three years of study (no fewer than 180 ECTS credits) in a university and program recognized by UNIGE. No French test is required for enrollment with the Admissions Office.  Please check with the faculty or school whether there are any language proficiency requirements.

As a general rule, doctoral programs start in either the spring or autumn semester, although applications can be submitted at any time during the year. Please contact the faculty in question for more details about the specific requirements.
