Pablo Timoner is a Ph.D. candidate at University of Geneva since July 2017. He received his B.Eng degree in Agronomy at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) in 2009. Then he moved to Costa Rica and worked during four years as an agricultural and land manager. In 2014, he started his Master in Environmental Sciences at the University of Geneva, focusing on running water biodiversity. He completed the Complementary certificate in Geomatics, and after an internship at GRID-Geneva, he started his Ph.D. on Spatial models of macroinvertebrate diversity in Swiss running waters in the face of climate change. His thesis comes within the framework of the SWATCH21 project, which is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
