Restrictions

 General

  • you may take classes from a maximum of 2 different faculties
  • master's classes are open only to postgraduate students and subject to availability
  • no access to master's courses in Advanced Studies or continuing education classes
  • some seminars may be full or unavailable
  • "Research Project" courses are not open to exchange students
  • certain classes may be subject to requirements
  • practical classes (TP) may be accessible on request
  • a B2 level in French is highly recommended to take  regular classes, and a level B1 for classes at the Ecole de langue et de civilisation françaises. Special conditions apply for the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (a level B2 certificate in French is mandatory)

Tip: improve your French before or during your stay with summer classes and during the year with remedial classes organised by UNIGE, and through tandem exchanges.
