About us
In a context of growing globalization, it is essential to encourage students, teachers, and administrative and technical personnel to study abroad. Study abroad leads to new cultural and academic competencies, developing networks, and the chance to have a one-of-a-kind experience.
The Academic Exchange Office (SMAC) plays a leading role in setting up study abroad. Serving the University community, SMAC provides information about and organizes exchanges at the national and international level (both within and outside Europe). Additionally, it sets up and manages the Swiss European Mobility Program (SEMP) exchange agreements. It also coordinates research-related exchange programs - Swiss Federal Grants, Excellence Scholarships, Euroscholars, and STREAM.
Organization of the office
The academic exchange office continues to receive students every day from 10:00 to 12:30 at MR050.
