Our ‘Welcome Days ’ event ensures that your arrival at the University of Geneva goes as smoothly as possible. It will take place in person if circumstances permit, and online via a virtual platform for those who are unable to attend physically.

During this orientation day, you will receive extensive information regarding:

  • your exchange program, including practical information on residency permits, insurance, French classes, etc.;
  • computer tools required to take your classes;
  • special services made available to students by the University as part of the ‘Campus Life’ program.

To be ready for Welcome Days, we recommend immediately installing the 4 main IT services: Wi-Fi (if you are in UNIGE buildings), Printing and Scanning, VPN, and the virtual desktop (VDI) using the tutorials we have prepared especially for you.

If you experience any difficulties, our experts will be available at the virtual stand on 19 February 2021.
