Behavioral Insights and Interventions at the University of Geneva (BIG)

Over the last 10 years, the potential of behavioral interventions based on psychological insights ("nudges") has been recognized by the public as well as by policy makers. The BIG network brings together different research groups at the University of Geneva who are working in this field in order to initiate joint projects and to develop concrete interventions together with external stakeholders. Our areas of expertise include research in behavioral plasticity, motivation, persuasion and communication; intervention development in the areas of health, environment, and social issues, as well as the development of evaluation strategies for existing interventions.
