Simon Granger obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Université Savoie Mont Blanc in Chambéry, France, before enrolling in the Master's program in Cognitive Sciences (Neuropsychology and Clinical Neurosciences) at Université Lumière Lyon 2.
In 2024, he completed a research internship at the EMC laboratory under the supervision of Geoffrey Duran and François-Xavier Cecillon. This project focused on the influence of deception and personality traits on non-verbal behavioral cues during the presentation phase of a dating application, using behavioral analysis.
Currently, Simon is undertaking a three-month research internship at the ESClab of the University of Geneva under the supervision of Dr. Nicolas Burra as part of his second-year master's program. His current project focuses on analyzing the temporal dynamics of the N2pc electrophysiological component in relation to allocentric and egocentric reference frames. Using electroencephalography (EEG), he investigates how these spatial frames influence attentional processes and their connection to the activation of brain networks involved in visual attention orientation.
With the ambition to pursue a PhD in the field of cognitive sciences and neuroscience, he remains open to any opportunities.
