David Rudrauf is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Geneva (2016-present) and is currently the Director of the Laboratory of Multimodal Modelling of Emotion & Feeling (Swiss Center for Affective Sciences). Current research focuses on the development of computational models of normal and pathological psychology combined with virtual reality.

David Rudrauf obtained a master degree (2000) and a Ph.D. (2005) in Cognitive Sciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University, a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the University of Iowa (2005), and a Habilitation from the University Joseph Fourier in Grenoble (2015). The author has worked as: Assistant Professor of Neurology & Radiology, in the Department of Neurology (University of Iowa; 2008–2011); non-permanent research scientist at the Laboratoire d'Imagerie Fonctionelle (INSERM, UMR S 678; 2012–2014); non-permanent research scientist at the Grenoble Institute of Neuroscience GIN (INSERM; 2014–2016); Director of the Laboratory of Brain Imaging and Cognitive Neuroscience, Division of Behavioral Neurology and Cognitive Neuroscience, Department of Neurology, (UIHC, University of Iowa; 2008–2011).
