CAS Humanitarian Interpreting 2020

Conflict and natural disasters know no linguistic boundaries. Ending a conflict and delivering emergency and humanitarian aid across language barriers represents a major challenge. This course builds the necessary knowledge and competencies for quality humanitarian interpreting responses.

Objectives

Enable humanitarian field interpreters to:

  • Acquire higher-level skills in interpreting
  • Meet the requirements of a variety of challenging humanitarian contexts
  • Plan and organize interpreting services in the field

Audience

Interpreter with experience in humanitarian interpreting
Interpreter who has completed the InZone Basic Course in humanitarian interpreting

  • International Humanitarian Law for Humanitarian Interpreters
