Irene is a University Pedagogy Advisor and member of the Centre for Continuing and Distance Education’s Quality Department. She is also attached to the University of Geneva’s Teaching and Learning Support Department since 2015. She supports continuing education programme teams in the institutional evaluation of teaching and programmes.

She worked for several years in research as a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre Interfacultaire en Sciences Affectives, at the University of Geneva, where she also contributed to the organisation of training events in her role as interim coordinator of the Education and Training programme. During her doctoral studies, she was a teaching and research assistant.

Irene obtained her PhD in Psychology in 2012 from the University of Geneva. She also holds a Master's degree in cognitive neuroscience and a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Sciences (Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, Italy).
