The Economic Value of Multilingualism: Private, Social and Macroeconomic Perspectives

On 27 November, DG Translation of the European Commission published a study it had commissioned on The Size of Language Industry in the EU. This presentation was preceded by a talk by Prof. François Grin on different approaches to the value of multilingualism and the linkages between this value and estimates of the size of the language industry.
