Perla AL ALMAOUI

Perla Al Almaoui is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Geneva, within the TIM department. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting from the Lebanese University, she joined the University of Geneva to pursue a master's degree in multilingual communication technolgy. Passionate about technological innovation applied to translation and languages, she has developed expertise in machine translation, MT quality assessment, and artificial intelligence. Her interests focus mainly on machine translation of spoken languages, particularly Arabic dialects, the evaluation of translation systems, and language teaching.
