Simon HENGCHEN

Simon Hengchen is a Lecturer at the Department of Multilingual Information Processing (TIM) of the FTI. He teaches the courses Méthodes et pratiques numériques (formerly Technologies de l’information et de la communication) and Ingénierie linguistique. After obtaining an MA in Germanic Languages and an MSc in Information and Communication Science and Technology at the Université libre de Bruxelles, Simon defended his PhD there in 2017 on computational approaches to detecting semantic change. He joined the FTI in 2019.
