Rhona is a Teaching and Research Fellow in the FTI's Interpreting Department, and a professional conference interpreter. In her research work, she considers how language processing takes place in interpreting, when two languages are concurrently overtly activated. She also teaches on the MA in Conference Interpreting and helps deliver the joint FTI-ICRC Basic Consecutive Interpreting Course.

Rhona obtained a PhD in Conference Interpreting from the University of Geneva in 2020. Prior to that, she completed an MA in Languages (Interpreting and Translation) at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and the MA in Conference Interpreting at the University of Geneva.
