Rhona is a freelance conference interpreter working in Geneva for both international organizations and private market clients.

Rhona works as a doctoral assistant in the University of Geneva’s Interpreting Department, where she is involved in training conference interpreters and interpreter trainers. In her PhD research, she uses methods borrowed from the field of psycholinguistics to gather new insights into the simultaneous interpreting paradigm. Her focus is on predictive processing.

Rhona graduated with an MA in Languages (Interpreting and Translation) from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, before going on to complete the Masters in Conference Interpreting at the University of Geneva.
