Bréthaut Christian
Christian Bréthaut is an associate Professor in water governance at the Institute for Environmental Sciences and at the Department of geography and environment from University of Geneva. He is the scientific Director of the Geneva Water Hub and he co-leads the UNESCO Chair on hydropolitics alongside with Géraldine Pflieger. He also acts as Director for the PhD mention on Environment and Sustainable Development granted by UNIGE Geneva School of social sciences. |
Research His work focuses on environmental policy and governance in general with a particular focus on water challenges. He focuses on topics related to multi-level governance, to transboundary water management and to challenges linked to intersectorality. |
