This platform initiated at the University of Geneva connects academics, professionals and associations working on a wide range of natural and cultural heritage issues. The main purpose is to serve as an informal space and network for exchange from multiple perspectives. We are particularly keen to strengthen dialogue between local and international heritage-related institutions and researchers from the wider Geneva area and region.
The Geneva Heritage Lab, hosted by the GEDT, offers an interdisciplinary space for heritage-related research, networking, and teaching. Current collaborative activities:
- Work with the University of Exeter on decolonial approaches and minority heritage.
- Collaboration with EPFL on heritage and creativity.
- Work with visiting researchers: Vira Orlovska (Ukraine), Valeria Mendez (Italy), Feng Sun (China), Logan Stepp (USA).
