Exposition "The Khanenko Museum in Kyiv : Heritage at Risk"
The exhibition presents photos of the Museum that holds precious collections of art, taken after its galleries were emptied in the spring of 2022 to protect their treasures from a war of aggression against Ukraine. Images show a museum in limbo, enduring and looking to the future.
The exhibition is hosted by Maison de l'histoire of the University of Geneva in partnership with the International Council of Museums (ICOM)-Switzerland and the Swiss National Museum. It was produced in collaboration with TU Dortmund University, the Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko National Museum of Art in Kyiv, the Ukraine Art Aid Center, and the Caspar-David-Friedrich Institute of the University of Greifswald.
