I feel that low income communities in many developing countries do not get proper healthcare due to the fact that most of the management of clinics namely making receipts for medications, prescriptions and medical reports are done by pen and paper. This is due to the fact that the Hospital Management software is usually expensive and only big hospitals could afford them. Hence, I believe that creating a platform for small clinics and PHCs, which are the first and only contact for medical services for individuals in developing countries, should be now when all the worlds focus is on healthcare and good governance. I want to create a web-based HMS platform for one-two doctor clinics and PHCs in developing countries for readily accessible data and improved medical infrastructure utilisation.
