GFRI Alumna Elisabeth Pröhl Awarded the 2020 Aliprantis Prize
Alumna Elisabeth Pröhl (2018) wrote her Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of GFRI’s Prof. Rajna Gibson and Prof. Olivier Scaillet.
In 2017, she also received the James B. Ramsey Prize for the best doctoral paper in econometrics and in 2015, she was awarded the Macro Financial Modelling Fellowship for her work.
Her research focuses on the theory and computation of general equilibrium models with heterogeneity and its application to macro-financial models. In particular, she is interested in the implications for wealth inequality, stock market participation, asset prices and firm financing.
