Prof. Olivier Scaillet Named President-Elect of SoFiE

Prof. Olivier Scaillet has been elected President-Elect of the Society for Financial Econometrics (SoFiE) for the 2027–2029 term, with an overwhelming majority of votes cast by the membership.

SoFiE is a leading international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing research and education in financial econometrics. Currently hosted by New York University, the society brings together academics and practitioners from around the world to exchange ideas and promote innovation at the intersection of finance, econometrics, and macroeconomic fundamentals.

Prof. Scaillet will succeed Torben Andersen, who currently serves as President for the 2025–2027 term.

The GFRI warmly congratulates him on this prestigious appointment and looks forward to his future contributions to the global finance research community.
