Prof. René Sieber nominated for the Advisory Board of the Center of Competence for Sustainable Finance

Prof. René Sieber has been nominated for the Advisory Board of the Center of Competence for Sustainable Finance (CSSF) of the University of Zurich. 

The Center is part of the strategic partnership between the University of Geneva and the Universoty of Zurich.

 

The CSSF is one of the biggest university centers dedicated to the research in sustainable finance bringing together approximately 20 researchers from the departments of banking, finance, informatics, geography mathematics, law, psychology, philosophy, and political sciences. The researchers associated with the CCSF collaborate to establish joint research projects and academic collaborations. Its Advisory Board consists of eight highly distinguished scientists and practitioners and is chaired by Joseph Stiglitz from Columbia University.

 

The Center of Competence for Sustainable Finance was launched in January 2020 and is dedicated to the following activities:

  • The creation of scientific knowledge
  • The strengthening scientific interdisciplinarity
  • The development of education opportunities for students as well as professionals
