AI strategies: The view from CERN and EPFL

With Enrica PORCARI (Head of the CERN IT Department) and Marcel SALATHÉ (Academic Co-Director, EPFL AI Center)
Wednesday 30 April 2025 | 5―6 pm | SDG Solution Space, Campus Biotech Innovation Park
The Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM) of the University of Geneva has initiated an AI strategy process with three axes: AI in Teaching, AI in Research, and AI in Careers. As part of this, the GSEM is inviting thought leaders from neighboring world-class research institutions and international business schools to inspire strategic discussions within the Faculty and across the University about how AI will impact these institutions.
This panel discussion with thought leaders from CERN and EPFL will explore how their institutions adapt to generative AI; both for research purposes and career strategies for their personnel.
Participation is free, but registration is mandatory.
