It has been a successful start to 2021 with four GSEM members obtaining Postdoc.Mobility fellowships from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) for academic positions at universities abroad.

Sofonias Alemu Korsaye, Ph.D. Student and Teaching Assistant with the Geneva Finance Research Institute, will stay at the University of Chicago (USA), as part of his doctoral studies.

Dr. Julien Forbat, Lecturer at the GSEM and holder of a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies, will have a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of New South Wales (Australia).

Dr. Gaëlle Cotterlaz-Rannard, who recently obtained her Ph.D. in Management, will hold a postdoctoral researcher position on business models and non-profit organizations at the University of Queensland Business School (Australia).

Nicola Gnecco, Ph.D. Student and Teaching Assistant with the Research Center for Statistics, will stay at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), as part of his doctoral studies.

Postdoc.Mobility fellowships are aimed at researchers who have done a doctorate and who wish to pursue an academic career in Switzerland. A research stay abroad enables such researchers to acquire more in-depth knowledge, increases their scientific independence, and enhances their research profile.

Congratulations to all!
