GSEM Professor Dorothée Baumann-Pauly from the Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights, and Prof. Michael Posner (NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights), are the new co-chairs of the PRME Working Group on Business and Human Rights.

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported initiative founded in 2007 as a platform to raise the profile of sustainability in schools around the world, and to equip today's business students with the understanding and ability to deliver change tomorrow. The PRME has become the largest organized relationship between the United Nations and management-related higher education institutions.

To mark the relaunch of this group, an introductory meeting was held on 19 March to introduce the Global Business School Network for Business and Human Rights learning community to the PRME members. This online gathering engaged participants in discussions on opportunities for advancing the agenda on the integration of human rights in business education and encouraging this new network to expand and advance their work.

Business and management schools, as well as management and leadership development institutions, are shaping the skills and mindsets of future leaders, and this influence is vital in promoting human rights in business education.
