The annual report published by the Geneva School of Economics and Management reflects on the year 2021. It presents the School's activities, commitments, and developments in the fields of teaching, research, and services to the community.

For the GSEM, 2021 was a year of new developments, but also of transition and consolidation. The School was able to substantially progress with implementing the Strategy 2025 to be a research and education leader in analytics, governance, and sustainability by building on its Geneva Advantage.

The student body remains one of the most diverse among business schools, with 46% female students and 45% international students. The GSEM's faculty members and researchers published 28 articles in top journals, obtained major grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation and EU, and received numerous awards and nominations.

Additional highlights included the launch of the Master of Science in Responsible Management and the Entrepreneurship Laboratory. The EMBA program was reaccredited by the Association of MBAs, confirming the School’s position among the top 2% of business schools globally.

The annual report offers information about the GSEM’s advancements in teaching, research, and innovation. It provides an overview of developments and key figures; highlights the achievements of the School, its Faculty, and students; and invites us to relive the highlights of the School's year.
