The GSEM continues to perform well in the BWL Forschungsmonitoring rankings

The Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM) continues to perform well in the Forschungsmonitoring rankings. Several GSEM Professors are highly rated in the latest BWL (Betriebswissenschaftslehre) rankings, showing the academic excellence of the School's faculty. These rankings are designed to assess the performance of academic research in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

In the “University ranking”, considering only A+ publications, the GSEM ranks 3rd (second in Switzerland), and considering A+ and A publications, it ranks 7th (third in Switzerland).

In the “Author ranking”, considering only A+ publications, the GSEM has six colleagues among the top 100: Ines Chaieb, Giacomo De Giorgi, Harald Hau, Philipp Krueger, Olivier Scaillet, and Fabio Trojani. In this ranking, only publications from the years 2018 to 2022 and forthcoming articles are considered.

In the “Lifetime ranking”, considering only A+ publications, the GSEM has 12 colleagues among the top 250. In addition to the above-mentioned six professors, the “Lifetime ranking” includes Professors Tony Berrada, Rajna Gibson Brandon, Michele Pellizzari, Sebastian Raisch, Jean-Charles Rochet, and Maria-Pia Victoria-Feser. Considering A+ and A publications, it has 15 colleagues among the top 250. In this ranking, the author's complete publication history is considered.

In the "Under 40 ranking", Professor Thomas Fischer ranks 27th (considering only A+ publications) and 40th (considering A+ and A publications).

The BWL Forschungsmonitoring rankings show the scores of all economists and scientists in business administration in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as researchers who are born in these countries.
