Several GSEM professors highlighted for their research in the Forschungsmonitoring rankings
Several GSEM Professors are highly rated in the Forschungsmonitoring rankings, both in Economics and Business Administration, showing the academic excellence of the GSEM faculty. 16 of our Professors are listed in these rankings designed to assess the performance of academic research in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Of the 298 economists identified in the VWL ranking for the years 2015 to 2019 (all countries combined, weighted based solely on publications in the best A+ ranked journals), Harald Hau, Marcelo Olarreaga, Frédéric Robert-Nicoud, Aleksey Tetenov, and Fabio Trojani have been selected for their publications in leading academic journals. In the “lifetime ranking” which includes publications from the entire academic career, Giacomo De Giorgi, Rajna Gibson Brandon and Maria-Pia Victoria Feser also stand out.
Of the 298 scientists in business administration identified in the BWL ranking for the years 2014 to 2018 (all countries combined, weighted based solely on publications in the best A+ ranked journals), Philipp Krueger, Markus Menz, Sebastian Raisch, Jean-Charles Rochet, Olivier Scaillet and Judith Schrempf-Stirling have been selected for their publications in leading academic journals. In the “lifetime ranking”, Tony Berrada and Ines Chaieb are also listed.
Forschungsmonitoring rankings show the scores of all economists and scientists in business administration in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as researchers who are born in these countries.January 9, 2020
