  • Curriculum Vitae (max 2 pages A4)
  • Motivation letter in English (1 page A4)
  • Grade transcripts of previous studies (Bachelor, high school and other university studies)
  • Copy of your Bachelor degree if already obtained (and other degrees if any)

If you wish to study in a second faculty, you must submit your enrollment request in keeping with the deadlines set by the Admissions Office.

If you hold a degree from UNIGE, left the university before 2019 or will leave at the end of the January/February exam session, you must submit a request to re-enroll at the university, in keeping with the deadlines set by the Admissions Office.

Candidates for Master in Commodity Trading must find an internship for September in commodities trading at a company or bank in Switzerland that specializes in commodities trading, trade finance, auditing or inspections. Once you have received confirmation from the University of Geneva that you have been admitted to the Master's program, you must therefore start actively looking for an internship. GSEM will assist you by posting your CV on the STSA website and organizing a speed recruiting event between mid-April and early May. Please note that the company where you complete your internship does not have to be a member of the STSA.

If you wish to have previously acquired credits recognized, you must complete the corresponding form and submit it with your application.

If you wish to apply for several different Master's programs, please complete a separate credit recognition form for each program.

No credits can be recognized for the Master’s thesis. Credits acquired during undergraduate programs (i.e. programs below the Master's level) cannot be recognized for the Master's you are applying for.

Credit recognition requests will not be accepted after the application deadline (28 February), and incomplete requests will not be processed.

Starting in January, you can apply for the Master's program online by clicking on the link below (please note that once you have submitted your application, you can no longer modify the documents submitted with it):
