Health & Safety Plan
During the current public health crisis, we, at the Geneva School of Economics and Management and the University of Geneva, are doing everything in our power to ensure the continuation of our missions. A protection plan for the University of Geneva (in French) has been adopted, which sets out the protection provisions and recommendations of the institution.
On this page you will find all the information on the exceptional measures taken in this context. This page is continuously updated with the latest information.
In accordance with the new measures adopted by the federal government, working from home becomes compulsory for all UNIGE staff wherever possible. Nevertheless, the full range of services and benefits offered by UNIGE continues to be provided.
Strong protective measures
Following the announcement of the State of necessity by the Geneva Cantonal Government, the University is continuing to implement the major protective measures applied to higher education: generalized teleworking and distance learning. Cafeterias and Library remain open and accessible only to the university community. Public events take place exclusively online, as do the sporting and cultural activities offered by the institution.
Remote teaching & working
