On June 9 and 10, the final conference of the Alternative Mobility organized for GSI students will take place. This innovative program was born during the pandemic and aimed to offer an alternative to students deprived of exchange programs. They were asked to reflect on the transformation of society in times of crisis and to explore the path to a potentially substantial change.

This challenge was taken up by 38 students from 5 universities (University of Geneva, University of Montreal, Pompeu Fabra University, University of Exeter and University of Hamburg) grouped into 10 teams. Their projects deal with various topics such as the environment, health, the information crisis and the reflection on the implementation of innovative local governance tools.

During this event, the student teams will present each of their projects as well as a final document, the result of a collaborative work that aims to demonstrate how a crisis can be transformed into an opportunity.
