Bernard VAN BEERS

Bernard Van Beers is full professor of Radiology at the University of Paris Diderot (France) and Radiologist at the University Hospital Beaujon, Clichy (France). He is also responsible of a research team working on imaging biomarkers in inflammation, fibrosis and cancer at the French Institute of Medical Research (INSERM U1149). He was previously president of the department of medical imaging and the research unit of diagnostic radiology at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). He is member of several European Infrastructure projects in imaging research and several scientific medical societies. He is an expert in quantitative, functional and molecular abdominal imaging.
