Call for paper: Martial Arts, Tradition and Globalisation International conference at the University of Lausanne

The Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva participates in the organization of the 2021 conference of the Martial Arts Studies Network and the German Martial Arts and Combat Sports Commission : Martial Arts, Tradition and Globalisation. This international event will take place at the University of Lausanne (with activities in the Confucius Institute and the Olympic Museum) from June 30 to July 3, 2021. The organizing committee is inviting scholars and students from all disciplines to submit paper proposals on a large variety of themes related to the scientific study of martial arts (deadline: October 30). The conference is supported and hosted by the Institut des sciences du sport de l’Université de Lausanne, the Laboratory of Experimental Museology, and the Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva.
