Agreements

The University of Geneva is committed to the fruitful internationalisation of collaborations in research and teaching. The International Relations and Partnerships Office (IRPO) oversees the institutional collaboration agreements of the University. That includes evaluating the relevance of the establishment or renewal of an agreement, negotiating the agreements, overseeing their signing, entry into the database and archiving.

There are two main types of collaboration agreements: with and without student exchanges. Furthermore, either type of agreement can be for a given entity (faculty, centre, institute), or university-wide. The IRPO may provide agreement templates (in English and French) adapted to each case. For more specific cases, more precise texts may be drawn up if necessary.

All agreements signed in the framework of the Swiss-European Mobility Program (SEMP) allowing for the exchange of students and/or teachers and researchers with institutions that are members of the "Erasmus" program are managed directly by the Academic Exchange Office.
