4EU+ Alliance

The University of Geneva (UNIGE) has joined the European University Alliance 4EU+, formed by Charles University in Prague, Sorbonne University, and the Universities of Copenhagen, Heidelberg, Milan and Warsaw.

The faculties, centers and interfaculty institutes of the UNIGE will thus be able to develop their European collaborations with quality partners, LERU members or associates, in particular in the following fields

  •  Mobility: students, teachers, administrative and technical personnel double/joint degrees, e-learning, summer schools, short-term programmes
  • Service to society: European dimension and synergies with other Alliance members, Open Science
  • Communication and dissemination: organisation in Geneva of seminars/conferences/events on Alliance projects

The activities and projects are focused on 4 "flagships":

  • Flagship 1:  Urban Health and Demographic Change
  • Flagship 2: Europeanness: multilingualism, pluralities, citizenship
  • Flagship 3: Digitisation – Modelling - Transformation
  • Flagship 4: Environmental transitions
