Partnerships

Research and coordination

One of the core missions of the UNIGE International Affairs Office is to maintain and develop UNIGE's global reach by establishing new partnerships all over the world and ensuring increased coordination in specific regions. These initiatives include:

  • China: creation of a UNIGE coordination group to improve the coordination of our many interactions with Chinese institutions
  • Project Africa to put in place a proactive policy for partnerships with selected institutions, on the basis of existing collaborative activities (see strategic partnerships)
  • Preliminary studies of the university sector in certain target countries in which UNIGE connections have yet to be sufficiently developed (see opposite). The aim of these mapping activities is to create a knowledge base, identify potential UNIGE partners and draw up recommendations for future action.
