Connectivity plays a major role in sustainable educational solutions in the field. InZone uses a case-study approach to analyzing the installation of Learning Hubs – solar-powered portable computer labs – in the field, in an effort to improve our understanding of sustainable solutions and the creation of livelihoods.
Insights from Learning Hubs installed in Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps feed into the bottom-up approach InZone has embraced for blending collaborative pedagogy and technology. Not all pedagogical or technological solutions scale easily and InZone’s research is designed to identify the potential and constraints in fragile contexts.
