Djemila Carron is a Senior Lecturer (MER) at InZone, where her work focuses on human rights and humanitarian law. She teaches the course Introduction to Human Rights and Applied Human Rights - an advanced human rights course in the refugee camp of Kakuma. Previously, Djemila served as lecturer at the University of Geneva’s Law Faculty, where she ran the Law Clinic on the rights of vulnerable people, a course she co-founded in 2013. The holder of an LL.M. from Columbia University and a PhD from the University of Geneva in 2015, her main research areas include the classification of armed conflicts, the rights of vulnerable people and the law applicable in refugee camps.
