Le Congrès international de physique mathématique(ICMP) qui se déroulera à Genève du 2 au 7 août 2021 prolonge son délai pour la soumission de présentations, de posters ainsi que pour les demandes d’aides financières au 8 mars prochain. Cette conférence hybride sera précédée, du 29 au 31 juillet 2021, par un symposium pour les jeunes chercheuses et chercheurs (YRS) qui se tiendra à la Faculté des Sciences de l’UNIGE. Des enseignants des Sections de mathématiques et de physique prendront la parole durant ces événements, notamment les professeurs Hugo Duminil-Copin, Marcos Mariño, Antti Knowles, Julian Sonner et Michel Mayor. Le Pôle de recherche national SwissMAP, hébergé par l’UNIGE, est l’organisateur et principal sponsor de cet évènement majeur.

ICMP 2021: Registrations open and Deadline extended for Contributions and Applications

The International Congress of Mathematical Physics (ICMP) to be held in Geneva from 2^nd to 7^th of August 2021 extends the deadline for the submission of contributed talks, posters and applications for financial support to 8^th March 2021. This hybrid conference will be preceded, from 29^th  to 31^st of July 2021, by the Young Researchers Symposium (YRS) to be held at the Faculty of Sciences of UNIGE. Mathematics and Physics Professors from UNIGE’s Faculty of Sciences, including Hugo Duminil-Copin, Marcos Mariño, Antti Knowles, Julian Sonner and Michel Mayor are amongst the event speakers. The National Centre of Competence in Research SwissMAP, hosted by UNIGE, is the organizer and main sponsor of this major event.

Within the framework of the ICMP, the traditional "Human Rights Session" (6^th of August 2021) will be devoted this year to equal opportunities and the promotion of women's careers in science. To this end, the NCCR SwissMAP is launching a call for contributions to collect experiences and/or initiatives implemented to reduce gender inequality.
