Arrival by train

In order to reach the Monte Verità hotel complex and conference centre in Ascona, you must first reach Locarno, the closest train station to Ascona. Quick and easy online timetable enquiries can be made over the website of the Swiss Federal Railways SBB http://www.sbb.ch/.

On the day of arrival, May 20, 2018, there will be a free shuttle bus from the Locarno train station to the Hotel Complex and Conference Center Monte Verità at 01:40 p.m., 02:20 p.m., 03:00 p.m., 03:40 p.m., 04:20 p.m. and 05:00 p.m. (max. 11 persons per trip). The meeting point for the shuttle is on the right side of the train platform in Locarno (see image below).

On the day of departure, May 23, 2018, at 02:00 p.m., 02:40 p.m., 03:20 p.m. and 04:00 p.m. participants will be able to take the shuttle bus to Locarno free of charge.
