Conference: Women and the Theatre - 16-18 October 2008
"Women and the Theatre" was a 3ème cycle conference, which took place from October 16-18 2008 in Geneva. Organised by the English Department of the University of Geneva, it focussed on the role of women in the theatre from the Middle Ages to the present day and challenged the stereotypical dichotomies between public/private and masculine/feminine which have been the object of critical debate for several decades.
