The intensive French courses are open to everyone from the age of 17.
All sessions take place in person at the University of Geneva.
COURSE LEVELS
These courses are open to all CEFR levels:
A1.1 - complete beginner
A1.2 - beginner
A2.1, A2.2 - advanced beginner
B1.1, B1.2, B1.3 - intermediate
B2.1, B2.2, B2.3 - advanced intermediate
C1 - advanced
2 weeks before the course starts, a link to an online level test will be sent to all registered participants. This test is compulsory. For complete beginners, no test is required.
COMPULSORY COURSES
Language courses in classes of 12 to 20 participants.
Classes take place every day from Monday to Friday.
Timetable: 9.00-12.30 (including 20 minutes break)
Number of academic hours: 20 hours per week (1h = 45 min)
Course programme: training of the 5 skills (oral and written expression, oral and written comprehension, interaction).
The teaching material is provided on the first day of the course.
Be careful: no classes on 1 August (national holiday).
OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
Optional activities (workshops, courses and conferences) take place every afternoon between 13.30 and 17.00. They are recommended, but not compulsory, and are included in the price: they can be followed without registration or additional costs.
These activities are differentiated by level and by skill. The timetables are communicated on the first day of the course. Examples of activities:

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
In order to obtain the certificate of attendance, students must attend the compulsory courses (80% attendance) and meet the requirements set by the teacher.
