Students with regular attendance during at least one session of the French courses can enroll for an exam to obtain a Diplôme de langue (language degree).

If they pass, they will obtain a language degree confirming their level of French: A2, B1, B2 or C1.

If students pass the Certificat de Français (advanced B2 or C1), they do not need to take the French admission test for the University of Geneva (Note: the Faculty of Humanities requires an extra exam).

Exam fees CHF 100.- are not refunded in case of failure.

For the students of the CPU course (University preparation course) the Certificat de français is included in the tuition fees.

More information will be provided during each session and students can enroll for the diploma at the Summer courses secretariat as soon as courses start.
