Asmae El Hassani is a PhD candidate in theoretical linguistics. Her doctoral research focuses on the syntax of relative clauses in Tarifit Berber, with broader interests in comparative syntax, morphosyntax and linguistic variation. She is currently conducting research at the University of Geneva as a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship holder.
