| Description | Descriptive and theoretical issues on passive in the causative voice, with some evidence from acquisition Adriana Belletti - University of Siena, University of Geneva The talk develops the analysis of Italian/Romance-type causatives in terms of pre-posing of a chunk of the verb phrase/smuggling, and focuses on their relation with passive in passive in the causative voice. Descriptive and theoretical issues also dealing with complexity and locality will be raised through the comparison between Italian and French, as well as English get passive, which will also bear on some evidence from the acquisition of passive in the causative voice.
