Postdoctoral Researcher

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Montréal's Centre de recherche en éthique, where I conduct a the project entitled "Debunking Argument in Animal Ethics".

In 2017-2019, I was a postdoc at the universities of Birmingham and Stockholm. As part of the SNSF-funded Early Postdoc.Mobility project “Normative Issues in Metaethics", I investigated the normative implications of the moral error theory. More specifically, I argued that, assuming that all moral judgments are false, we (prudentially) should nonetheless adopt a utilitarian moral fiction.

In 2016-2017, I was a postdoc at the University of Geneva's Centre Interfacultaire en Sciences Affectives. In the project "Beyond Sacrificial Dilemmas: Broadening the Psychology of Consequentialism”, Florian Cova and I tested the dual model of moral judgment developed by Joshua Greene with thought experiments that do not involve sacrificial dilemmas.

In 2016, I received a PhD from the UniGe for a thesis entitled "Utilitarianism for the Error Theorist" supervised by Prof. Julien Deonna.
