Research
As a PhD candidate at the University of Geneva, I am working on the SNSF project "Simulation and Counterfactual Reasoning in Neuroscience" directed by Professor Marcel Weber. The aim of my research is to clarify the notion of simulation in the context of scientific practice and its relation to experimentation, modelling, thought experiments and forms of counterfactual reasoning. More specifically, I am focused on the use of computer simulations in contemporary neuroscience and their epistemic roles.
