Research

I am working on the SNF project Counterfactuals Reasoning in Biology directed by Prof. Marcel Weber at the University of Geneva. I'm focusing on the importance and the functionning of thought experimenting in biology and in particular in the relation between thought experimenting and modeling in evolutionary biology. In the course of this study, I have also been interested in apriori knowledge, the epistemology of dispositional properties, the semantics of scientific laws and non-monotonic logics.

Recherche

Je collabore au sein du projet SNF Counterfactuals Reasoning in Biology dirigé par le Prof. Marcel Weber à l'Université de Genève. Mon travail se concentre sur l'importance et le fonctionnement des expériences de pensée en biologie, et plus particulièrement sur la relation entre expérience de pensée et modélisation en biologie de l'évolution. Dans le cadre de cette étude, je me suis intéressé en outre aux connaissances apriori, à l'épistémologie des propriétés dispositionnelles, à la sémantique des lois scientifiques et à la logique non-monotone.
