Research Fellow

Giovanni Merlo was awarded an SNSF Ambizione grant for his project 'The Privileged Present: from Phenomenology to Metaphysics'. Before joining eidos, he held a fellowship at the NYU Center for Mind, Brain and Consciousness (2014-15) and worked as a postdoc in Hamburg (2015-17) and Stirling (2017-19). His research focuses on issues in metaphysics, epistemology, the philosophy of mind and the history of early modern philosophy.
