Message from the Vice-Rector
The University of Geneva has more than 17’000 students and about 6’500 employees! These are the most valuable resources of our University. Beyond the specific disciplines, the entire university community is driven by the same ambitions: to provide and benefit from quality education, to enhance the student experience, to develop and disseminate innovative research in the natural, human and social sciences, to contribute through our curiosity and knowledge to the social, economic and cultural development of the city.
To nurture these ambitions, we wish to offer all members of our University a healthy and respectful work and study environment. On this site, you will find information about the resources available at Unige in the event of conflict, discrimination, harassment, or other conduct that threatens integrity or dignity. It is also an opportunity to recall our University's zero tolerance of such conduct, and to highlight the spirit of responsibility that must be shown not only by team leaders and hierarchical superiors but also by witnesses of such harmful conduct and, more generally, by all members of the Unige.
It is up to everyone to promote well-being within their study or work circle at UNIGE!
Brigitte Galliot, Vice-Rector
